Financial Aid Student Portal

Welcome to the GTU Online Financial Aid System where you can:
  • Download the current year GTU financial aid application form
  • Check the status of your financial aid application
  • View a list of documents we have received from you and a list of the documents that are outstanding 
  • View, reduce and accept or decline your financial aid resources
  • Check the status of your financial aid for the current year
  • View your federal student loan history
By creating a GTU Net Partner account, you agree to participate in electronic transactions with the Financial Aid Office.  Students who wish to opt out of electronic financial aid transactions and receive paper notiifcations must submit their written request with an original "wet" signature.

Log In Instructions

You must have a financial aid record already established at the Graduate Theological Union in order to use the Net Partner Financial Aid Student Portal.

If you have not begun the financial aid application process, you can get started by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid.  Please be sure to enter our school code, G01207, on your FAFSA in order for us to receive an electronic copy of your results. Please note: if you are applying for admission or are a continuing student in the GTU Master of Arts program, you must also include the federal school code for your school of affiliation. Additionally, you must complete and submit the GTU Financial Aid Application in order for your application to be considered complete.

New Students

Once we receive notification of your admissions status, your completed Financial Aid Application form and we have received your information from the Federal Student Aid Division of the U.S. Department of Education that your FAFSA has been processed, we will send you an email that will include your GTU Net Partner login information.

First Time Users

To access the online system, enter your GTU Student ID and your Password. If you haven't been assigned a Password, click on the "First Time User" option to walk you through setting up your own personalized Password. If you have forgotten your Password, click on the "Forgot your Password?" option to walk you through the process of setting up your personalized password. The minimum password length is 9 characters and must contain both upper and lower case characters along with at least 1 special character. You must also set up 3 challenge questions and answers to verify your identity.

If you attempt to enter the Financial Aid Portal unsuccessfully more than 5 times, your account will be locked and you will need to contact our office.
